  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Add-Ons

  • Dried herbs (rosemary, thyme)

  • Chili flakes for heat

Preparation

  1. Wash and thinly slice the potatoes (about ⅛ inch thick). No need to peel.

  2. Soak slices in cold water for 20 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat completely dry.

  3. Toss potato slices with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).

  5. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).

  6. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

  7. Add parmesan or herbs in the last 2 minutes if using.

  8. Serve hot.

Tips & FAQs

Why soak the potatoes?
Soaking removes starch, which helps the slices get extra crispy.

How thin should the slices be?
About ⅛ inch—too thick won’t crisp, too thin may burn.

Can I reheat leftovers?
Yes! Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes.

These crispy air fryer potato slices are crunchy, flavorful, and totally irresistible—perfect on their own or with ketchup, aioli, or ranch.
