Ingredients

For the Loaf:

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 tablespoon flour (for coating blueberries)

Optional Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 2–3 tablespoons milk or lemon juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. In a separate bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.

  5. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

  6. Mix in eggs one at a time.

  7. Stir in vanilla extract.

  8. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  9. Toss blueberries with 1 tablespoon flour, then gently fold into batter.

  10. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth top.

  11. Bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  12. Cool completely before glazing or slicing.
